Restaurants That Allow BYO (Bring Your Own Wine)
May 26, 2009
There is no denying that economy has taken a toll on our wallets and our wine buying, especially when dining out. I want to dedicate this section to various restaurants that allow patrons to bring their own wine for free or for a nominal charge (corkage). BYO was once frowned upon by many restaurants, but due to the economy people are staying in to save money. To encourage people to come out (and hopefully become loyal patrons), some restaurants are encouraging people to save a little money by bringing their own wine and spending money on food. It is a “Win Win” situation for both restaurants and patrons. The restaurant will have created new foot traffic and encouraged people to visit often and the public will be able to save a few dollars by bringing their own wine and visited a new establishment.
The institutions that take this approach should be APPLAUDED. I will highlight as many as possible to help direct people to these visionary establishments. Cheers!
Feel free to email us via Questions/Comments to have us add your favorite establishment that allows BYO. We will call to confirm and also ask about the procedure. I will even give you credit ! Thank you very much!

PF Chang's China Bistro Northlake
10325 Perimeter Pkwy, Charlotte, NC - (704) 598-1927
Operating Partner Everett Emery is an avid wine enthusiast and is always thankful to have a patron bring in a special wine to enjoy with PF Chang's versatile menu. As long as the wine you would like to bring is not on the current Wine List, there is no corkage fee. A simple call ahead to let them know and prepare, is all one needs to do.
